To my sweet Alissa Mae Deane,
I have always wanted a sister and God gave me the gift of you. You have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and I would not want it any other way. You made our family laugh and smile everyday and John, Ryan, and I are the people we are because of you. I will never forget all the little things you would do for us just to make us smile. Alissa, you inspire me, and I love you more than you could ever imagine. This Thanksgiving, Christmas, and April 3rd we will all think of you more than usual on your favorite days of the year. You are free now, you aren't suffering anymore and I know that you are looking down on me from heaven. I will see you again one day, I love you.

Allisa was a very sweet little girl. She was loved and cared for by the Colwell family for over 30 yrs. First with Delores and John (Mom-and Dad) Then with Lisa and John Jr and their family. Allisa played with little John , Kelly and Ryan as they grew up , throwing ball and knee hockey. She loved to swing on her swing and listen to music. She loved movies , work and getting her nails done . Allisa loved food especially hotdogs. She knew everyone’s birthday. She loved Christmas. Every Christmas she said the same thing, this is the best,,,She went to Washington DC and to Disney with aunt Joan. Unfortunately the Colwell family had to move out of state and as Allisa was a ward of the state she had to remain in Mass. It was very sad. But she was missed and was talked about often .Sadly things changed for Alissa and we were all heartbroken. But hopefully now Alissa is in heaven swinging on her swing eating a hotdog and listening to her music. We love you and miss Aliss, Nana Judy

No matter how bad your day was or how bad my day was whenever I came home from school you were always sitting there waiting for me to get home with a smile on your face waiting to ask me about my day. Whenever I am having a bad day I'm going to look up to the sky and know your up there looking down on me asking me how my day was. I love you Alissa and I'll see you again soon.1 Corinthians 16:7 "For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit."

Your beloved friend, and brother,
John Peter
