Alissa M. Deane

Alissa Deane,38, passed on September 27, 2017.  Born on April 3, 1979, her life began with many difficulties and hurdles yet, being involved with so many that cared for her over the years, her trust and inclusion in this life helped her enjoy so much. Her greatest gift to this world, was that she spent her life teaching others what a gift life is in her own way, and the generous love and care that many in this world have in them. Her family became many that cared for her, shared with her, and helped her enjoy so very much we take for granted. Her friends, especially those at the Work Opportunity Center where she worked for over 15 years, meant so much to her.  In her final year here, the Staff at Western Mass. Hospital as well as Mercy Medical, provided so much for her not only in needed care but, true love and respect. They are admired for their commitment. Alissa surely knew that they included her in their family just as others had in her earlier years. There are many she would like to say thank you to if she could, you know who you are so, names are not needed. 

A Memorial Service for Alissa will take place, November 10th at 1:30PM at Western Massachusetts Hospital, 91 East Mountain Road, Westfield, MA 01085.  Burial will be private for the family.
