Westfield – Eileen M. Mullany, 96, passed away peacefully Sunday at the Governors Center in Westfield. Eileen was born on September 10, 1921 in Hatfield, MA to the late John and Elizabeth(Lavin) Mullins. She grew up in Hatfield, and worked on the farm for many years before she became a nurse. She was an avid golfer and proud of her hole in one. Eileen was a devoted to her faith and her church to where she was a communicant to St. Mary’s Parish in Westfield. She loved her family and entertaining around the holidays. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert A. Mullany in 1980, and her two sons Brian Mullany in 2006, Robert Mullany in 2017, and her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving children Richard J. Mullany and his wife Nancy of Rollinsville, Colorado, and Patricia Cincotta of Glendale, Arizona. She is the cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held, Friday August 11, 2017 at 11AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 203 Southampton Road, Westfield, MA 01085.
