Chicopee – Carol Ann Austin, 51, Our beloved Carol passed away July 2, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born November 23, 1965 in Springfield to William Moore and Marion (Burnett) Latif. Carol enjoyed camping with her husband and spending time with her family. She enjoyed her special dates, dinners and bowling with her nephew Tommy. She loved her cats Pips and Smokey. Carol worked for Big Y for over 23 years and worked for the Big E for over 12 years. She was a member of the Alliance Church of Westfield. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 16 years James Austin, her mother Marion Latif and husband Joe, her brothers Ken Moore and his wife Elaine of Broad Brook, CT, Ray Moore of Ludlow, and Joe Latif and Shari of Danielson, CT. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-laws, Barbara Schaler and her husband George of East Longmeadow, Jan Gilbert and her husband Thomas of East Longmeadow and Bev Lavelli and her husband Dave of Orange, and 8 nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her father William Moore There will be a memorial service for Carol, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 3:00PM at the Alliance Church of Westfield, 297 Russell Road, Westfield, MA 01085.
