Dolores H. (Geiger) Hudson

Dolores Helena Geiger Hudson 73, of Springfield, MA, passed on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Western Massachusetts Hospital, after an eight year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  Dolores was born January16, 1945 in New Haven, CT to the late Frederick and Helen(Stempick) Geiger.  She left this world with her loving family at her side. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years Preston (Hank) Hudson Sr, her children; Janet Coolbeth, Steven Lyons (Deceased), Janelle Lyons, Virginia Roso-Gendreau and her husband Alex Gendreau Sr, Nicholas Hudson, her step-children Preston Hudson Jr, and Cynthia Hudson Parks, her grandchildren; Craig Coolbeth, Megan Coolbeth, Derek Matthews, Caleb Parks, Haley Thomas, Ariana Hudson, Nathan Hudson, Ashley Roso, Kaitlyn Roso, Kassidy Gendreau, Alexander Gendreau Jr, and Preston Gendreau, her siblings; Victoria Geiger Carlson and her husband Walter Carlson, Beverly Geiger Sobel and her husband Charles Sobel, Frederick Geiger and his wife Ruth Geiger, her nieces; Veronica Carlson Martin, Christine Carlson, and Diana Carlson Maduzia. The funeral for Dolores will be private for the family.  Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation is assisting the family with these arrangements.  Please visit www.westfieldfuneralhome.com for Dolores’s memorial page.
