Robert Donald Recor

Robert “Bob” Donald Recor, 54, passed away at home on Saturday, March 2, 2019.  Bob was born in Springfield on October 30, 1964 to Robert George Recor and Barbara (Lamoureux) Browder.  He was a born and raised in Springfield only to return to Massachusetts after living in South Carolina for many years.  Bob was the proud owner of Recors Siding and Roofing for many years.  His mother was his universe and was proud of the home he built just for her.  He enjoyed heavy metal music, Gun Smoke and his favorite actor John Wayne. Bob always had a great sense of humor and had something funny to say no matter the occasion.  Bob is survived by his mother Barbara, his wife Brenda (Still) Recor, his step children Holly Moore and Daniel Moore, his siblings Leonard Recor and his wife Helene and their children Joshua and Jessica,  from South Carolina, Edward Recor and his children Ryan and Daniel from Palmer Mass, Rena Flores and her husband Felix and their children Amy, Jay “Justo,” Rena and Jaisen, and Krystal Morgan and her husband Prince and their children Joseph, Lynia and Desmond.  All from Springfield, adopted Brother Juan Ramos from Cambridge and his children .  He was cherished grandfather to Jayda, Kamryn, Riley, Farrah and Tynsley all of his great  nieces Kaylani, Janiyalei, Kassidy, Remy, Kaidence  Kaiya and Jai'lyn and great nephews Jay Antony, Jeramyah, Josiah and Joseph "Mookie".  He will also be missed by his special friend Denise as well as many others. Bob was predeceased by his father Robert George Recor in September of  2018. Calling hours for Bob will be Saturday, March 9th from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at WESTFIELD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 4 Princeton Street in Westfield.  A Funeral Home Service will follow calling hours at 6:00PM.
