ANN M (SAMAY) GUIDI

Ann Marie (Samay) Guidi, 86, of Agawam, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Born in Springfield, MA on February 13, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Frank R and Marie (Corbeille) Samay.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Deborah and Susan of Feeding Hills, and her brothers Robert and his predeceased wife Josephine, Russell and his partner Nancy,  and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Raphael Samay, and her sisters Dorothea Samay and Shirley (Samay) Tashjian.

She was employed by Western New England University for 30 years.

She loved God, family, friends, and her feline pets.  She will be missed by many and will be with them always. 

Ann enjoyed sewing, crafts (particularly making potholders in her later years), and gardening. She enjoyed participating in The Great Paper Chase and other local road races. Her favorite forms of exercise were walking, jogging, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and bicycling.

Services for Ann are private and have been entrusted to Westfield-Avalon Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St., Westfield, MA 01085
