Anita F. (Swift) LeBorgne

Anita F. (Swift) LeBorgne, 70, of Chicopee, MA passed away on April 21, 2020 after a long-term illness.

She was born in Passaic, NJ on September 16, 1949, daughter of the late Edward V. and Anita E. Swift (Leone). She is survived by her three children, Anita and her husband Kyle, Peter and his wife Annemieke, and Matthew and his wife Dawn, and two sisters, Pamela and Marie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anita graduated from East Paterson High School in 1967 and spent her life providing non-clinical support in the healthcare industry leaving a lasting image on everyone she worked with and retiring from Baystate Health in 2019.

Anita was a devoted mother who enjoyed the simplest times of preparing family meals and baking Christmas cookies. Her maternal instincts went beyond her children as she was an avid animal lover who nurtured numerous pets throughout her life. Her New Jersey roots were never far from her thoughts whether it be spending time on the Jersey Shore or singing along to Bon Jovi. She loved the warmth of the beach and held fond memories of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
