Bernard "Bernie" F. Keeley, Jr.

SOUTHWICK – Bernie Keeley, Jr., 74, passed away at his home in Southwick, MA on August 16, 2026.

Bernie was born on November 5, 1951, in Springfield, MA to the late Bernard Francis Keeley, Sr., and Doris Rose (Losito) Keeley.

Bernie graduated from Agawam High School, Class of 1969..  He continued his education at Holyoke Community College earning his certification in HVAC and worked as an HVAC Project Manager at McCormick Allum for many years. 

In his retirement, Bernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and gardening.  He was a true handyman; he enjoyed working in his garage, building, fixing, and taking on many projects. 

In addition to his parents, Bernie is also predeceased by his brother, Mitch Keeley.

He leaves his wife, Cynthia Keeley of Southwick, MA, his daughters: Marissa Traino and her husband Jason of North Reading, MA, Michelle Keeley of Waco, TX, and Ashley Keeley and her fiancé Scott Drost of East Granby, CT; his brothers: Kevin Keeley and his partner Casey Ferguson of Feeding Hills, MA, and Brian Keeley and his wife Lori of Feeding Hills, MA; his grandchildren: Peyton Vanbeek, Alyana Vanbeek, Brody Coffman, Jase Coffman, Nik Traino, and Keeley Traino, his mother-in-law Joan Kane of Agawam, MA, numerous fishing and hunting buddies, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Family and friends are invited to gather for a period of visitation and celebration on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12NOON at Westfield-Avalon Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St, Westfield, MA 01085.
