BETTY ANN (MERRILL) CHAMPINEY

PALMER – Betty Ann Champiney, 86, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Palmer Health Care Center in Palmer, MA. 

Betty Ann was born on March 8, 1935, in Westfield, MA to the late Frank L. Merrill Jr. and Evelyn B. (Hull) Merrill.

Betty Ann enjoyed painting wooden crafts that her husband would cut out for her. She loved the beach, especially during the summer months, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family and her beloved cat Bo that her daughter now has.

Betty Ann is predeceased by her husband, Harold I. Champiney Sr., and her brothers William and Richard Merrill.

She is survived by her son Harold “Bud” I. Champiney and his wife Jeannette of New Zion, SC., her daughter Doreen Veitenheimer and her husband Mark of Granby, MA, and her son Billy Champiney and his wife Linda of Westfield, MA, along with her two sisters Janet Bostock and Florence Elaine Lapten Kirnin both of Westfield, MA.
