BLANDFORD – David Bruce Alexander, 69, passed away on June 8, 2026, at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA.
David was born on May 5, 1957, in Springfield, MA, to the late David B Alexander and Pauline D (Saville) Alexander. David attended West Springfield schools.
David was a proud Navy Veteran. He served his country from 1975 to 1980 aboard the USS America.
David enjoyed riding his snowmobiles, hunting, fishing, and Jeeping in his spare time.
David was a member of the Ludlow Shooting Club and had served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Town of Blandford.
David leaves his daughter Erin Alexander and her partner Justin of Middlefield, MA, his brother Tony Alexander of Southampton, MA, his sisters Jean Courniotes and her husband Jody of FL, and Michele Belden of Blandford, MA, his ex-wife and longtime friend Diane (Newman) Alexander, along with many other family members and friends.
A private burial for immediate family only will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
