David Ducott, age 66, died suddenly at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield on Tuesday, November 12th. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Ducott, who he was married to for 25 years. David was born in Saugus, MA to the late Estelle and Robert Ducott.
David is also survived by his children, Jason Landry and his daughters, Kali and Alexis; Kelly Landry, her partner Michael Motley and their sons, Daymien and Masiyah; as well as Samantha Landry and her daughters, Elaina and Elariya. Although he was their step-father he loved them as if they were his own.
Also surviving him, is his brother Robert Ducott, his wife Laura and his sisters Donna Entwistle, Christine MacLennan and Patti Chang and her husband Jorge and many nieces and nephews, as well as his mother-in-law Ruth Mongeau and brothers-in-law Kenneth, his partner Katherine, Michael and Richard. He also leaves behind his first wife Bonnie Ducott and her son Douglas to whom he was still close.
David volunteered regularly at the Westfield Food Pantry picking up their deliveries, as well as helping give out food and cooking meals for those who went there seeking assistance. David had many, many friends within the community and his passing will leave a big hole in many hearts. He was also a strong presence in his recovery family, was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
