DORIS MARY (GIROUX) BISHOP

WESTFIELD – Doris Mary (Giroux) Bishop, 84, passed away at her home in Westfield, MA on February 19, 2025

Doris was born on January 31, 1941, in Holyoke, MA to the late Edward Giroux and Emilenne (Roy) Giroux. 

Doris graduated from Sacred Heart High School.  She had worked for 25+ years as a Return Clerk for Kmart in Westfield and Holyoke. 

Doris enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her loving grandchildren and their dogs. If not spending time with her grandchildren, you would find Doris socializing with her many wonderful neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Doris is also predeceased by her husband Kendrick Wayne Bishop, and her sister Claire Dizek and her husband Joe.

Doris is survived by her daughter Kendra Mastello and her husband Garth of Russell, MA, her son Kyle Bishop and his wife Januara of East Granby, CT, her grandchildren: Kaitlin Mastello of Agawam, MA, Karly DiMaggio and her husband Brendan of Springfield, MA, Shane Mastello and his fiancé Jaimee O’Brien of Russell, MA, and Devita Bishop of East Granby, CT, along with many other family members, friends, and neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a period of visitation on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM at Westfield Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St, Westfield, MA 01085  proceeding to St. Mary’s Parish, 30 Bartlett St, Westfield, MA 01085 For an 11:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial.  Burial to be held in the Spring at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA
