David Daniel Sullivan, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25. David was born in Warren, MA, on November 28, 1938, to the late Daniel T. and Helen (Maloney) Sullivan. Dave was raised in Springfield and was a graduate of Springfield Trade, Class of 1956. He proudly enlisted and served in the United States Navy on the USS Northampton (CL/CA-26.). Upon his honorable discharge, David graduated from STCC in 1962. He worked for W.F. Young INC for over 41 years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Tina Malley, and her husband John of Suffield. He is cherished "Gramps" to 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons David Jr. and Michael Sullivan. He leaves behind his former wife, Carmella Sullivan, and many friends who knew him. There will be a private chapel service with full military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Holyoke Soldiers' Home, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
