George Edward Squires, 62, passed away Wednesday at Western Mass. Hospital. George was born in Westfield on January 26, 1954, son of the Albert and Dorothy (Crockwell) Squires. George was a lifelong resident to the Westfield/Russell area. He worked construction most of his life. George was an avid outdoors man who loved fishing and camping. George is survived by his children Joseph Squires of Westfield and Roxanne Crussana and her husband Nicholas of Easthampton, grandchildren Luke, Teagan and Nicholas. He was the caring brother of David, Lee, Margaret, Susan, Marion and was predeceased by his brother Charles in 2015. Calling hours for George will be Friday March 25, 2016 from 4-7PM followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7PM at the Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation, 4 Princeton Street, Westfield. Burial will be private for the family.
