Mr. Gerald L. Wilder, 73, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Baystate Noble Medical Center in Westfield, MA. Gerald was born on February 26, 1944 in Montague, MA to Lewis K. and Mildred (Marble) Wilder. Gerald was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard (PFCE3) serving from 1964 through 1970 qualifying as a Sharpshooter and Rifle Marksman. He worked in wholesale distribution for many years, most recently for Agway. In his spare time Gerald enjoyed fishing and was an avid racing fan, especially NASCAR. He was a member of the Indian Orchard Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. and the Westfield American Legion Post 0124. Predeceased by his parents, he leaves his wife Gloria (Drake) Wilder of Westfield, MA, his sons Douglas M. Wilder and his wife Deborah Gallerani-Wilder of Belchertown, MA and Bruce Wilder of Westfield, MA, his brother Steven Wilder, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins along with many other family members and friends.
