JAHAT PAUDEL

SPRINGFIELD - We are extremely sorry to share the sad news of the untimely demise of our senior community member, Jahat Paudel at the age of 84 on 10/18/2023 while he was undergoing treatment at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. He was living with his son Tek Paudel and family. He was born on 1/1/1939. Late Mr. Jahat Paudel was originally from Khaguchin village of Goshi block under Dagana District in Bhutan. He took asylum in Eastern Nepal and lived in Bhutanese Refugee Camp, Beldangi-II for over 2 decades after he was forcibly expelled from his home country, Bhutan. He came to the United States on 2/14/2013 under the Refugee Resettlement Program and settled in Springfield, MA. The Bhutanese Society of Western Massachusetts (BSWM) extends its deepest condolences to bereaved family and relatives and pray for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace. Late Mr. Jahat Paudel’s funeral service is scheduled for 10/23/2023 Monday between 9:00-11:00 am at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 4 Princeton Street, Westfield, MA-01085.
