JOHN H COMBS, JR

John Combs left this life unexpectedly on July 19th with his loving wife by his side.  John was born on June 4, 1970, to John Sr., and Carole Combs in Huntington, Long Island, NY and grew up in CT.  John was larger than life, quick witted and always ready with a joke to keep you smiling!  He was a bright light in a sometimes-dark world and will be missed more than can be put into words.

John is survived by the center of his world, his wife Patti.   John is also survived by his mother Carole, his daughter Tiffany Marie, his sister Susan her husband Brett (Favro) their son Joshua, and their daughter Amanda, her husband Louis, and their son Holden.  John is also survived by his brother James, his wife Michelle and their children, Matthew and Leah.   He also leaves behind his sister and brother in-law Maryann and James (his boo), nieces Lyndsey, Samantha, and Izabell, as well as his in-laws Dan and Lucy.

John was predeceased by his father, John Sr. in 2021 as well as his heart dog Jade.  We like to believe they are together again.

John worked in the building materials industry for many years and through this profession met his wife Patti, the rest is history!  John loved to travel with family and friends and would bring back great stories of their shenanigans and adventures!  One of John’s past times was to hang out in his man cave with his fur babies Maddi and Ollie and cheer on the Yankee’s, the Giants, or the Georgia Bulldogs.  John was also an avid “chef” and loved all his smokers, grilles and cooking up delicious meals for his family and friends and putting back a cold Coors Light or two.

John was a kind and generous soul, and his absence will be felt by many.  

There will be a celebration of John's life to be held at a future date.
