Jason Lloyd Desormier, 48, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home in Westfield. Jason was born in Westfield, on April 1, 1970 to Robert and Carolyn (Bruneau) Desormier. He grew up in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School. He later attended Dean Vocational School for their nursing program. Jason spent most of his career working as a nurse at various nursing homes and in-home care agencies. He excelled in his career and took great pride in his work. In doing so, he touched the lives of many. He was a devoted father who loved and adored his children. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his brother, Jamie Desormier and watching the New York Giants. He will be missed immensely by the many people who’s hearts he has touched. Jason is not only survived by his parents but his loving wife, Elizabeth Darling, his daughters: Courtney Kazierad, Morgan Bassett and Brooke Darling, and his sons Matthew Kazierad, Jax Desormier, and Luke Desormier and grandchildren Brynnley and Bennett Bassett, his brother, Jamie Desormier and his wife Linda and their children Andrew and Jenna and his former wife Tina Burl.
