Jean J. (Measick) Dumphy

Our beloved mother, Jean Janet Dumphy, 68, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center.  Jean was born on February 10, 1953 in Westfield, daughter to the late Eujean Measick and Gladys(Kellogg) Noble.  She was raised and educated in Westfield and was a graduate from Westfield High School.  Jean loved raising her children, and being a grandmother.  She was an avid crafter who enjoyed stenciling, and cross stitching.  Jean loved to garden and take care of her plants.  She is survived by her cherished children Matt Dumphy of Chester and Erin Dumphy of West Springfield.  She will be forever known as Grammy to Autumn, David and Grandma to Gavin and the sister to Susan Starr of Maine.  Calling hours of Jean will be Friday Sept 3 at 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation, 4 Princeton Street in Westfield.  A Celebration of Life will take place at 7:00PM.  To express condolences to the family of Jean, please visit www.westfieldfuneralhome.com for Jeans memorial page.
