KIMBERLY ANN BARBER

WESTFIELD – Kimberly Ann Barber, 52, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  At the time of her passing, Kim was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. 

Kim was born on May 22, 1969, in Westfield, MA to Wayne B Barber and Lynda S (Mucha) Barber.  She graduated from Westfield High School Class of 1987.

Kim devoted much of her life to caring for cats.  She volunteered at the Westfield Homeless Cat Project for many years and enjoyed fostering cats with the help of her daughter and mother.  Kim was a devoted fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, a passion she shared with her daughter Kayla.  Kim was excited about her upcoming trip with her daughter to see RuPaul in person.

Kim was predeceased by her father Wayne B Barber in 2014.

She leaves her daughter Kayla Barber of Westfield, MA, her mother Lynda Barber of Westfield, MA, her sisters Kelly Barber of Enfield, CT and Keri Barber of WA, her great friends Christine Mastroianni and Denise Sinico, her special needs cat Hope, along with many other family members and friends.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Westfield Homeless Cat Project, 1124 East Mountain Rd, Westfield, MA 01085
