MICHAEL JEFFREY NAWAZELSKI

ADAMS - Michael Jeffrey Nawazelski, 37, of Adams, MA, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2024, after a long battle with his mental health. Born in South Weymouth, MA on October 11, 1986, Mike was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend.

Mike attended elementary school in Hanover, MA where he enjoyed his time being a Cub Scout. In 1995, he moved to Williamstown, MA where he was a graduate of Mount Greylock Regional High School, Class of 2005.

He was happiest when he was with his family, especially working alongside his dad or walking the family dogs with his mom. He was an avid New England sports fan and loved being outdoors hiking, snowboarding, and swimming.

Mike is survived by his mother, Debra Nawazelski, of Williamstown, MA; father, Joseph Nawazelski and his wife Susan of Pittsfield, MA; brother Andrew Nawazelski and his wife Andrea of West Suffield, CT; brother Daniel Nawazelski and his wife Ryan of Exeter, NH; and grandmother Eleanor Nawazelski of Hanover, MA. He also leaves behind his niece Hailey Nawazelski and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who he loved very much.

A memorial mass will be held on September 14, 2024, at 10AM at St. Mary's Church, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA followed by interment in the Hanover Center Cemetery. A celebration of Mike's life will be held in Berkshire County at a later date.
