Michael W. Malo

Michael Wayne Malo, 65, passed away on February 9, 2020 with his family by his side.  Michael was born on April 27, 1954, in Holyoke, son to the late Alfred J. And Jeannette F.(Hurtibise) Malo.   Mike moved to Westfield in 1998, and worked as a machinist for Berkshire Industries before he retired.    He enjoyed many fishing trips but he was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and New England sports fan, and loved watching classic t.v. shows.  Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Deborah (Lyon) of Westfield, his sons; Michael Malo Jr., of Westfield, Christopher Malo and his wife Louise of Albuquerque, NM and Stephen Malo and his wife Jamie of Beaumont, CA.  He was the caring brother to Edward Malo and his wife Julie and Roger Malo and his wife Sandra all from Chicopee.  He was the cherished Grandpa to Madden Malo, and will be missed by several nieces, nephews and to all who knew him.  Calling hours for Mike will be Saturday, February 15th from 2:00PM-4:00PM at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation, 4 Princeton Street in Westfield.
