Olga Palmira Rios-Miranda, 77, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020 surrounded by her loving children. Olga was born on May 29, 1943 in Guayama, PR, daughter to the late Rafael Rios-Garcia and Palmira Miranda. Olga worked as a teacher’s aid in Westfield School System for many years before she retired. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Parish in Westfield. She enjoyed crocheting hats for premies at Baystate. She loved her family and her grandchildren the most. She would volunteer at the Arbors, organized the Bingo games, and worked the Christmas bazaar. You could always catch her reading or doing crossword puzzles. Olga is survived by her children Olga Adams(Evan Gonzalez), Maria Seddon(Marc Taddia), Jose Adams(Cheri) and Ana X. Adams. She was the cherished grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister Hilda Rios Miranda. Olga will be dearly missed by all of her special “adopted” children throughout the years. The family would love to thank the staff at The Arbors for the 15 years of kind and caring compassion they showed to Olga. Family and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Parish, 30 Bartlett Street in Westfield.
