ROBERT ALLEN CLARK

WESTFIELD – Robert Allen Clark, 84, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA. 

Bob was born on March 14, 1938, in Waterbury, Vermont to Marshall W. Clark and Ethel V. (Farnsworth) Clark.

Bob was a Jack of all trades.  He enjoyed tinkering around the house, always searching for his next rehab project. 

Affectionally known as Papa to his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, Bob always made sure they knew that he was their number 1 fan.

Bob had worked for 19 years for the City of Westfield as a heavy equipment operator, and previously on the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department.

In his spare time, Bob enjoyed visiting casinos, especially Mohegan Sun, fishing, watching wrestling, and had previously coached soccer and baseball. 

Bob is predeceased by his parents Marshall and Ethel Clark, and his son-in-law Mark Carpenter.

Bob leaves his best friend and wife of 64 years, Marguerite “Peggy” (Robienczak) Clark of Westfield, MA, his son Richard Clark and his wife Lynne of West Springfield, MA, his daughters: Kim Carpenter of West Springfield, MA, Katherine Burch and her husband Kevin of Watertown, NY, and Karen Corliss and her husband Kevin of Westfield, MA, his grandchildren: Kurt Carpenter and his wife Sue, Shannon Piantoni and her husband Zac, Amber Call and her husband Patrick, Korey Burch, Kassidy Burch, Amanda Clark, Ryan Clark, Abby Corliss, and Brady Corliss, his great-grandchildren: Steven Carpenter, Isabella Piantoni, Maison Piantoni, Kyla Piantoni, Logan Carpenter, Gavin Carpenter, Camren Carpenter, Emma Call, and Blakely Call, along with many other family members and friends.
