Robert C. Warner, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16th after complications from a fall. Born in Springfield, he was a life long resident of West Springfield with his beloved wife, Patricia (Crowley) Warner who predeceased him after 63 years of marriage in 2018. Bob retired after a 34 year career as a Route Sales Representative with the Unifirst Corporation in Springfield. He enjoyed 40 years as a crew chief for New England Modified race teams, enjoying great success with the 92, 711, and 44 racing teams, and will be long remembered as a builder/owner of the 02, a car he built in his basement. An avid antique car enthusiast, Bob enjoyed restoring antique engines and equipment and judging local car shows. A dedicated family man, Bob is survived by his daughters Debbie Milliken and her husband Doug of East Longmeadow, Diane Wolfe and her husband Chuck of Southwick, and Cindi Warner of Southwick. He was the cherished and proud grandfather to Jennifer Olisky and her husband Dennis, Glenn Milliken, Chuck Wolfe and his wife Jessica, Kevin Milliken, Adam Wolfe, Hunter Wolfe, and Lily Warner, and great grandfather to Tyler, Olivia, Madalynn, and Dennis. He will be dearly missed by his sister Eleanor Warner, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Calling hours for Bob will be Saturday, April 24th from 10am - 12:00pm at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation,4 Princeton Street in Westfield. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 12:00PM, with a burial at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield.
