Ronnie was one to make anybody who met him feel like an old friend. Opened his home to us on numerous occasions to have 20 visitors spend the weekend camped out, eat and laugh at the many tales about his travels through life. Touched the lives of more people than any of us can imagine. Got Barbara's daughter Molly to cut to the front of the ER line when she fell n broke her arm on a Riverside weekend. Nana Ida always knew those flowers he presented to her when he visited her apartment were from the neighbor's vase down the hall. Gonna miss you Ronnie. RIP

Ronnie, my buddy, my dance partner, my motorcycle driver, and Grandpa Ronnie to my boys, has been part of our lives off and on for almost 30 years. I cherish all the memories, your twinkling eyes, and how you loved to make everyone laugh. Eddie went to go visit him after school Monday by himself because I couldn't handle any more emotional weight this week (recent widow), though he'd been talking about visiting Ronnie since last week. Eddie informed me that he was told Ronnie passed away over the weekend, and I was in shock. *sigh* I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I'll always love you, dear friend. I hope you finally find some peace.

We will all miss Ronnie. He had such a wonderful outlook on life. Everything was a story in the making. I knew when he started gesturing with his hand and his face lit up you were in for a good one, and another after that. Though I can't make the service, I'm sending all my love.
