Sherri L. Smith

Sherri L. Smith passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, surrounded by the care of her loving family members. She was born in Springfield to Clifford and Cecile Smith on March 9, 1963. Over Memorial Day Weekend 2004, Sherri married her best friend and the love of her life, Barbara E. Smith. The couple was blessed with over 30 years together, spending many cherished weekends camping at Shelburne Falls or out on The Cape. Sherri worked for over 10 years as an inspector with Ap Mar USA INC in Springfield. In addition to her beloved wife, Barbara, Sherri leaves behind her mother, Cecile of Florida; her brothers, Ralph Smith and his wife Lynn of Chicopee, Clifford Smith III and his wife Vicky, and Timothy Smith and his wife Amy both of FL, Robert LaValley and Joseph LaValley of VT. She will also be missed dearly by her two sweet cats, Katie and Pumpkin. Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Clifford; her sister Ann Smith and her brother Kevin Smith.
