Shirley A. (Cowles) Hilton

Shirley A. Hilton, 71, passed away expectedly on Friday, April 12, 2019.  Shirley was born on October 21, 1947 in Westfield to the late Henry E. And Ruth A. (Tuma) Cowles.  She was a life-long resident of Westfield.  She worked for the Westfield School Dept. as a teacher’s aid for over 35 years and also for Big Y for over 25 years before she retired. Shirley cherished her time with all of the students, coworkers that she worked with for so many years. She is survived by her children, Carey Hilton of Russell, Gregory Hilton of Pittsfield, and David Hilton of Becket.  She was the cherished Grammy to Rylan Lally, Abigail and Bella Moulton, and Gabriel Beaulieu.  She was the caring sister to Aden Cowles and his wife Kimberly and Alan Cowles and his wife Elizabeth.  She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and to all who knew her.  All services for Shirley will be private.  Please visit www.westfieldfuneralhome.com for Shirley’s memorial page.
