Vera A. (Sheenan) Roche, 91, passed away on Nov. 24, in Orlando, FL. She was an RN for 37 years, working at the Springfield Hospital in the OR, Springfield Armory, and retired from Tambrands. She was an advocate and volunteer for the Junior Achievement. Vera was a skilled artist and seamstress, loved the beach, swimming, tennis, and golf. She is survived by her daughters Bernadine Elliott of Norwich, CT and Lynn Zanolli of Hampden, MA. She was the cherished grandmother to Tammy Elliot of CT, Tisha Elliott of NY, and Sabrina Smarse and her husband Gary of FL, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Thomas Elliott in 2014. The funeral and burial will be private for the family. Donations can be made in her name to a Breast Cancer Foundation of your choice. Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation has been entrusted with these arrangements.
