NORTH ADAMS - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Zachary Hixon who left us on May 31, 2026, at the age of 31.
Born in Park Ridge, IL, and lived in Fayetteville, GA and North Adams, MA, Zach was a cherished son, brother, godson, friend, and a source of love and joy to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his humor, determination to win, compassion for others and the lasting impact he made on the lives around him.
Zach treasured spending time with friends and family, helping out on the food truck, and enjoyed gaming, especially Magic: The Gathering.
He is survived by Mindy Hixon (mother) and Julio Martinez (father), Zoe Hixon (sister), Stacie Domaszewicz (godmother), Annmarie Belmonte and Mike Kelly (dear friends), and many extended family members and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by Harry Hixon (grandfather).
Donations may be made to: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at www.afsp.org
Though our time with him was far too short, the love, memories, and moments we shared with Zach will remain forever.
All services for Zach are private and have been entrusted to Westfield Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St, Westfield, MA 01085
