Eloise was an adorable lady and wonderful family friend. So very sorry to learn of her passing.
Every year Eloise's Christmas card was one we especially looked forward to because of her incredibly perfect handwriting. My mother (the late Shirley Carpowits Fisher) used to say, "Eloise doesn't write, she draws!"
The Haydn family is such an important part of good childhood memories. Mable and Wallace, the wonderful antiques shop in the bucolic village of Wyben, and their warm, homespun friendship. Wonderful people and such good memories of them all.
Thank you, Dear Eloise, for being such a wonderful family friend to all of us. Heaven has a new angel.

I met Eloise for the first time when I became a member of the Western Hampden Historical Society and also visited her shop several times. She was a lovely lady and I am happy to have known her. Sending condolences to her family.
